The New iPhone will use the A19 Chip, a 6-core CPU with a 4-core GPU (2x times faster than the iPhone 11), which is the same chip found in the iPhone 17, it will also use the C1x modem found in the iPhone Air. The iPhone 17e will also feature a new 16-core neural engine designed for large generative models.

The iPhone will also feature the Ceramic Shield 2 found in the whole iPhone 17 family providing it with 3x better scratch resistance than the previous iPhone 16e as well as improved anti-reflection to reduce glare. The iPhone 17e is also splash, water, and dust resistant with an IP68 rating.

Unlike the iPhone 16e the iPhone 17e will now also feature MagSafe connectivity with Qi2 for fast wireless charging at 15w compared to the iPhone 16e with 7.5W Qi wireless charging.

The iPhone 17e now features an improved Portrait mode, that can now automatically detect objects, with support for portraits with Focus and Depth Control

The ‌iPhone‌ 17e starts with 256GB of storage at $599, same price as the 128GB ‌iPhone 16e‌. It is available in black, white, and soft pink. Pre-orders start on Wednesday, March 4, with availability starting next Wednesday, March 11.
